Silent Spaces
I walk through silent spaces, fill places you’ve once been
See your shifting shadow, feel your footsteps within
I glide into worlds, wander wild anew
Dangling down to my heart, a bit of you
Balcony breeze, cobblestone streets, sunset aglow
An echo of your laugh like it roared long ago
Eight long years since we both breathed the same air
But I stand where you stand, a time travelling pair
The same space, lost in a prism of time
Mirror to my image, rhythm to my rhyme
Your footprints greet my toes, your wisdom whispers in my ear
One foot after the other, all love, no fear
